Daniel Vacek

Daniel Vacek, born on April 1, 1971, is a distinguished former tennis player hailing from Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. Turning professional in 1990, Vacek quickly made a name for himself on the ATP tour, showcasing his skills and determination.

Throughout his career, Vacek achieved significant milestones, including reaching the quarterfinals of prestigious tournaments such as the Paris Masters in 1995, the Canada Masters in 1998, and the Cincinnati Masters in the same year. His remarkable performance led him to attain a career-high singles ranking of world No. 26 in January 1996.

In addition to his singles success, Vacek excelled in doubles, winning a total of twenty-five career titles with various partners. Notably, he clinched the French Open title in both 1996 and 1997, as well as the US Open in 1997 alongside Yevgeny Kafelnikov.
