Danielle Boyd

Danielle Boyd, born on May 30, 1990, in Kingston, Ontario, is a distinguished Canadian sailor known for her competitive spirit and dedication to the sport. She made her mark in the sailing world as part of a dynamic duo with partner Erin Rafuse, where they showcased their skills at the 2015 Pan American Games, finishing in an impressive sixth place in the 49erFX class.

In addition to their Pan American success, Boyd and Rafuse qualified to represent Canada at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Their journey culminated in a commendable sixteenth place finish, further solidifying Boyd's reputation as a formidable competitor on the international stage.

Beyond her competitive achievements, Danielle Boyd has embraced a role in coaching, currently leading the Queen's University Sailing Team. Under her guidance, the team has thrived, clinching the title of national Team Racing champions for three consecutive years, from two thousand twenty-two to two thousand twenty-four.
