Daniil Trifonov

Daniil Trifonov, born on March fifth, nineteen ninety-one, in Nizhny Novgorod, is a distinguished Russian pianist and composer. He began his musical journey at the tender age of five, showcasing his talent with his first solo recital by the age of seven. His early education included studies with Tatiana Zelikman at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, followed by a significant period of mentorship under Sergei Babayan at the Cleveland Institute of Music from two thousand nine to two thousand fifteen.

Trifonov's meteoric rise in the classical music world has been marked by numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award in two thousand eighteen and the prestigious Artist of the Year Award from the Gramophone Classical Music Awards in two thousand sixteen. The New York Times has praised his remarkable entrance into the classical scene, noting the unique brilliance he brings to his performances.
