Danny Ramadan

Danny Ramadan, born on May thirty-first, nineteen eighty-four, in Damascus, Syria, is a celebrated writer and novelist who has made significant contributions to literature and activism. As a public speaker and LGBTQ-refugee advocate, he passionately addresses themes of immigration, identity, diaspora, and belonging in his work.

His debut novel, The Clothesline Swing, garnered multiple awards, establishing him as a prominent voice in contemporary literature. In two thousand twenty-three, his second novel, The Foghorn Echoes, was honored with the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Fiction, further solidifying his reputation as a talented storyteller.
