Danny Welbeck, born on November 26, 1990, is an accomplished English professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League. His journey in football began at Manchester United, where he progressed through the youth ranks and made his senior debut in 2008, marking the occasion with a goal.
During his time at Manchester United, Welbeck contributed to the team's success, including victories in the 2008–09 League Cup and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup. He gained valuable experience through loan spells at Preston North End and Sunderland before establishing himself as a key player in the first team from the 2011–12 season onwards.
In September 2014, Welbeck made a significant move to Arsenal for a transfer fee of sixteen million pounds.
