Dany Bédar, born on July second, nineteen seventy-six, hails from Val-d'Or in the picturesque Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec, Canada. His musical journey began at the tender age of nineteen when he relocated to Montreal, where he showcased his skills as a bass guitarist with the renowned local band La Chicane from nineteen ninety-nine to two thousand seven. During this time, he made a significant mark as a composer with the hit song 'Tu m'manques,' which garnered three Félix Awards and one Juno Award, highlighting his exceptional talent.
In addition to his work with La Chicane, Bédar was also a member of the group Sex Solution, collaborating with fellow musicians Richard Gibouleau on percussion and Karl Coderre as the singer and guitarist.
