Daouda Karaboué

Daouda Karaboué, born on December eleventh, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished French handball player renowned for his remarkable achievements in the sport. His career reached its pinnacle when he secured the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, followed by another gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics, showcasing his exceptional talent on the international stage.

In addition to his Olympic success, Karaboué played a pivotal role in leading the French national team to victory at the 2009 World Championships. His contributions to handball were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious title of Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur in two thousand eight, honoring his dedication and fourteen years of sporting excellence.

After an illustrious career, Karaboué decided to retire in May two thousand thirteen. However, his passion for the sport did not wane; in two thousand fifteen, he took on the role of goalkeeping coach at the French club Pays d'Aix UC, where he continues to inspire the next generation of handball players.
