Darius Bazley, born on June twelfth, two thousand, is an American professional basketball player currently showcasing his talents with the Ningbo Rockets in the Chinese Basketball Association. His journey began in Sharonville, Ohio, where he attended Princeton High School after spending his initial years at Finneytown High School. Bazley quickly rose to prominence as a consensus five-star recruit, earning the distinction of being the top prospect in Ohio and receiving McDonald's All-American honors in two thousand eighteen.

Initially, Bazley committed to Syracuse University, signing with the program before making a groundbreaking decision to forgo college basketball. Instead, he aimed to join the NBA G League, a choice that garnered significant national attention. Ultimately, he opted for an unconventional path, training independently while interning for New Balance during the season leading up to the two thousand nineteen NBA draft.
