Darrell Rooney

Darrell Rooney, born on December seventeenth, nineteen fifty-nine, is a distinguished animator, storyboard artist, and film director. His career in animation began at Disney in nineteen seventy-eight, where he made significant contributions to the industry.

One of his early notable works was as a visual effects animator on the groundbreaking film Tron in nineteen eighty-two. This experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors in animation and storytelling.

Rooney's directorial talents shone through in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, for which he received a nomination for an Annie Award in two thousand one, recognizing his outstanding achievement in directing an animated feature production.

In addition to his work on Lady and the Tramp II, he also directed Mulan II in two thousand four at Disneytoon Studios, further solidifying his reputation in the animation field.
