Darryl Plecas

Darryl Plecas, born in nineteen fifty, is a distinguished Canadian criminologist and politician. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Abbotsford South from two thousand thirteen to two thousand twenty, showcasing his commitment to public service and governance.

During his tenure, Plecas held the esteemed position of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from two thousand seventeen to two thousand twenty. His election as Speaker was a significant milestone, reflecting his peers' trust in his leadership abilities.
