Darya Chultsova

Darya Chultsova, born on 20 February 1997 in Shklow, Mogilev Region, Belarus, is a dedicated journalist and reporter known for her courageous work in the field of media.

She gained prominence while working for Belsat TV, where she reported on significant events, including the tragic incident at the Square of Changes in Minsk in 2020, where Raman Bandarenka lost his life due to violence.

On 15 November 2020, Darya was arrested while covering the unfolding events, highlighting the risks faced by journalists in Belarus. Her commitment to uncovering the truth and reporting on critical issues has made her a notable figure in the fight for press freedom.
