Darya Naumava, born on August twenty-six, nineteen ninety-five, is a prominent Belarusian weightlifter and a celebrated European Champion. Her journey in sports began with shot put and discus throw, but at the age of sixteen, she transitioned to weightlifting, a decision that suited her stature of one point sixty-five meters.
Naumava has made significant strides in her career, earning silver medals at both the 2014 Junior World Championships and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Her dedication and talent were further showcased when she represented Belarus at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, competing in the women's seventy-six kilogram event.
Growing up in a peasant family, Darya is one of three sisters, all of whom have pursued careers in education. The eldest sister, Polina, initially trained in kettlebell lifting, setting a foundation of athleticism within the family.
