He is best known for hosting The Rubin Report, a talk show that he launched in two thousand thirteen as part of the TYT Network. However, in two thousand fifteen, Rubin departed from the network, citing ideological differences that shaped his evolving views.

Before his rise as a political pundit, Rubin co-hosted LGBTQ-themed talk shows, including The Ben and Dave Show from two thousand seven to two thousand eight and The Six Pack from two thousand nine to two thousand twelve, alongside Ben Harvey.
