David Benoit, born on August eighteenth, nineteen fifty-three, is a distinguished American jazz pianist, composer, and producer, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. With a prolific career that began in nineteen eighty, Benoit has released over twenty-five albums, showcasing his exceptional talent and creativity in the jazz genre.
Throughout his career, Benoit has garnered critical acclaim, earning three Grammy Award nominations. His contributions to music extend beyond his solo work; he serves as the music director for the Pacific Vision Youth Symphony, formerly known as the Asia America Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Asia America Youth Orchestra, nurturing the next generation of musicians.
