David Bratton

David Bratton, born in New York City on October first, eighteen sixty-nine, was a prominent figure in the world of aquatic sports. He made his mark as both a competition swimmer and a water polo player, showcasing his talents at a time when these sports were gaining popularity in the United States.

Bratton began his competitive swimming career with the Knickerbocker Athletic Club, a notable institution in New York. However, as the tides of time would have it, the club eventually folded, leading Bratton to seek new opportunities to further his athletic pursuits.

His dedication and skill culminated in his representation of the United States at the 1904 Summer Olympics held in St. Louis, Missouri.
