David Chalmers

David Chalmers, born on April twentieth, nineteen sixty-six, is a prominent Australian philosopher and cognitive scientist renowned for his contributions to the philosophy of mind and language. Currently, he serves as a professor of philosophy and neural science at New York University (NYU), where he also co-directs the Center for Mind, Brain and Consciousness alongside his colleague Ned Block.

Chalmers is widely recognized for his formulation of the hard problem of consciousness, a pivotal concept that addresses the challenge of explaining why and how we have subjective experiences.
