Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of David Frankfurter

David Frankfurter, born on July ninth, nineteen oh nine, was a notable Croatian Jew whose actions would leave a significant mark on history. He is best remembered for the assassination of Wilhelm Gustloff, the founder and leader of the Swiss branch of the Nazi Party, in February nineteen thirty-six in Davos, Switzerland. This act was a bold statement against the rising tide of anti-Semitism and Nazi ideology.

Upon committing the assassination, Frankfurter surrendered to the authorities and openly confessed, stating, 'I fired the shots because I am a Jew.' His admission highlighted the deep-seated anguish and desperation felt by many Jews during this tumultuous period.

In the aftermath of the assassination, Frankfurter was sentenced to eighteen years in prison for murder. However, his story did not end there. Following Victory in Europe Day, he was granted a parliamentary pardon and released from prison. As he stepped out into the world once more, he was met with cheers from sympathetic crowds who hailed him as a hero.
