David Harewood

David Harewood, born on December 8, 1965, is a distinguished English actor and presenter, currently serving as the president of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art since February 2024. With a career spanning various mediums, he has made significant contributions to stage, film, and television.

Harewood is perhaps best known for his compelling television performances, notably as David Estes in the critically acclaimed series Homeland from 2011 to 2012. He has also captivated audiences with his portrayal of J'onn J'onzz, also known as Martian Manhunter, and Hank Henshaw, or Cyborg Superman, in the popular series Supergirl, which aired from 2015 to 2021.
