David M. Friedman

David M. Friedman, born on August eighth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent American lawyer and journalist known for his significant contributions to law and diplomacy. He gained national attention when he served as the United States Ambassador to Israel from two thousand seventeen to two thousand twenty-one, a role that underscored his influence in international relations.

Friedman's legal career began in earnest when he joined the law firm Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman in nineteen ninety-four. It was here that he forged a notable professional relationship with Donald Trump, who was then the chairman and president of The Trump Organization. This connection would later lead to his involvement in Trump's presidential campaign as a trusted advisor.

In December two thousand sixteen, following Trump's election victory, Friedman was nominated by the President-elect to serve as ambassador to Israel. His confirmation by the Senate was a closely contested process, but he ultimately took the oath of office on March twenty-nine, two thousand seventeen, and presented his credentials to the Israeli government on May fifteenth of the same year.
