David Miscavige

David Miscavige, born on April thirtieth, nineteen sixty, is a prominent American religious leader and businessperson, best known for his role as the second leader of the Church of Scientology. He holds the official title of chairman of the board of the Religious Technology Center (COB RTC), an organization responsible for overseeing the trademarks and copyrights associated with Dianetics and Scientology. Within the Scientology community, he is often referred to by acronyms such as 'DM' and 'COB', as well as being recognized as the 'captain of the Sea Org'.

Miscavige's journey in Scientology began at a young age when he served as a deputy to the church's founder, L. Ron Hubbard. He joined the Sea Org, a management group within Scientology, and later became part of the Commodore's Messenger Organization, which was tasked with executing Hubbard's directives. By the early nineteen eighties, he had ascended to a leadership position and was appointed chairman of the board of RTC in nineteen eighty-seven, shortly after Hubbard's passing.
