David Narey

David Narey, born on June twelfth, nineteen fifty-six, is a distinguished former Scottish international footballer renowned for his defensive prowess. He dedicated an impressive twenty-one years to Dundee United, where he not only showcased his skills but also contributed to the club's triumphs, including a Scottish championship title and two league cup victories.

Throughout his career, Narey participated in several notable European cup runs, most memorably reaching the semi-final of the 1983–84 European Cup and the final of the 1987 UEFA Cup. While he is primarily celebrated as a central defender, his versatility allowed him to occasionally take on midfield roles, further demonstrating his adaptability on the pitch.

After his long tenure at Dundee United, Narey continued to make his mark in Scottish football by winning the Scottish League Cup with Raith Rovers during the nineteen ninety-four to ninety-five season.
