Davinson Sánchez

Davinson Sánchez, born on June twelfth, nineteen ninety-six, is a distinguished Colombian professional footballer who currently plays as a centre-back for Süper Lig club Galatasaray and the Colombia national team. His football journey began in Colombia with Atlético Nacional, where he made his professional debut in two thousand thirteen. During his time there, he achieved remarkable success, winning four Categoría Primera A titles, two Copa Colombia trophies in two thousand twelve and two thousand thirteen, the Superliga Colombiana in two thousand sixteen, and the prestigious Copa Libertadores in the same year.

In the two thousand sixteen to seventeen season, Sánchez made a significant move to Europe, joining Ajax. His talent shone brightly at the club, earning him the title of Player of the Year and leading the team to the UEFA Europa League Final in two thousand seventeen. Later that year, he signed with Tottenham Hotspur for a then club-record transfer fee of forty-two million pounds, where he made over two hundred appearances and solidified his reputation as a top defender.
