Dawid Podsiadło, born on May 23, 1993, is a celebrated Polish singer-songwriter who rose to fame after winning the second series of X Factor in 2012. His victory not only earned him a substantial prize of one hundred thousand PLN but also a coveted recording contract with Sony Music, under the mentorship of Tatiana Okupnik.
His debut album, Comfort and Happiness, was released on May 28, 2013, and it quickly made waves in the music industry. The album debuted at number one on the Polish Albums Chart and achieved triple Platinum status within the same year, ultimately becoming the best-selling album in Poland for 2013. By 2015, it had received Diamond certification, solidifying Podsiadło's place in the Polish music scene.
In October 2014, he collaborated with his band Curly Heads to release the album Ruby Dress Skinny Dog, produced by Daniel Walczak. This album debuted at number four on the Polish Albums Chart and was certified Gold, also earning a nomination for the 2015 Fryderyk award in the Rock Album of the Year category.
Podsiadło continued to build on his success with his second solo album, Annoyance and Disappointment, which was released on November 6, 2015. Like his debut, this album also debuted at number one in Poland and achieved Diamond certification, further showcasing his talent and popularity.
