Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Dayro Moreno

Dayro Moreno, born on September sixteenth, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished Colombian professional footballer renowned for his prowess as a forward. Currently, he plays for Categoría Primera A club Once Caldas and represents the Colombia national football team. With an impressive tally of two hundred twenty-five goals, he holds the record as the top goalscorer in the history of the Colombian Categoría Primera A.

Moreno's football journey began with Once Caldas, where he achieved significant success, including winning the prestigious Copa Libertadores in two thousand four. His career took a turn in two thousand eight when he ventured to Europe, joining Romanian club Steaua București for a two-year stint. He returned to Once Caldas in two thousand ten, contributing to the team's victory in the 2010 Finalización league title.

In two thousand eleven, Moreno made a move to Mexico's Club Tijuana, where he played until two thousand eighteen, with notable loan spells at Atlético Junior, Millonarios, and Atlético Nacional. His time at Atlético Nacional was particularly fruitful, as he helped the team secure the 2017 Recopa Sudamericana and the 2017 Apertura, while also finishing as the top goalscorer in both the Apertura and Finalización tournaments that year.

Despite facing disciplinary challenges that led to his dismissal from Atlético Nacional in October two thousand eighteen, Moreno continued his career with Talleres de Córdoba in Argentina. In two thousand twenty-one, he had a brief period at Oriente Petrolero in Bolivia before returning to Colombia to play for Atlético Bucaramanga in the 2022 season, where he once again emerged as the top scorer and led the team into the playoffs for the first time in years.

On the international stage, Moreno has represented Colombia at both youth and senior levels, contributing to the national team's third-place finish at the Copa América Centenario. While celebrated for his goal-scoring abilities, he has also faced scrutiny for his indiscipline throughout his career.
