De'Anthony Melton

De'Anthony Melton, born on May 28, 1998, is an American professional basketball player known for his versatility and tenacity on the court. Nicknamed "Mr. Do Something," Melton currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the National Basketball Association (NBA). His journey in basketball began at the collegiate level, where he showcased his skills with the USC Trojans in the Pac-12 Conference.

Despite his promising start, Melton faced challenges during the 2017–18 season, as he was unable to play due to the fallout from the NCAA Division I men's basketball corruption scandal. However, his talent did not go unnoticed, and he was selected by the Houston Rockets in the second round of the 2018 NBA draft, being the forty-sixth pick overall.

Before even stepping onto the court for his rookie season, Melton was traded to the Phoenix Suns. After a year in Phoenix, he found a new home with the Memphis Grizzlies in July 2019, where he spent three productive seasons. His performance caught the attention of the Philadelphia 76ers, leading to a trade during the 2022 off-season, further solidifying his reputation as a valuable player in the league.
