Joel Thomas Zimmerman, born on January 5, 1981, is a renowned Canadian electronic music producer and DJ, widely recognized by his stage name Deadmau5. His unique sound primarily encompasses progressive house and electro house, but he also explores various electronic music genres, including techno under the alias Testpilot. A distinctive feature of his performances is the custom helmet known as the 'mau5head', which has become a symbol of his artistic identity.
