Hyland DeAndre Jordan Jr., born on July 21, 1988, is a prominent American professional basketball player currently showcasing his talents with the New Orleans Pelicans in the National Basketball Association (NBA). His journey began at Texas A&M, where he played one season of college basketball before making the leap to the professional arena.
In the 2008 NBA draft, Jordan was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers as the thirty-fifth overall pick in the second round. Over the course of ten seasons with the Clippers, he established himself as a formidable force on the court. In July 2018, he transitioned to the Dallas Mavericks, followed by a trade to the New York Knicks in January 2019. His career continued to evolve as he joined the Brooklyn Nets later that year, and after a brief stint with the Detroit Pistons in September 2021, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.
