Debbie Lesko

Lesko's political journey began in the Arizona State Legislature, where she served from two thousand nine to two thousand eighteen. During this time, she held a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives from two thousand nine until two thousand fifteen, and later transitioned to the Arizona Senate, serving from two thousand fifteen to two thousand eighteen. Notably, she was appointed president pro tempore of the Arizona Senate from two thousand seventeen to two thousand eighteen.

In two thousand eighteen, Lesko was elected to represent Arizona's eighth congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a role she held until two thousand twenty-five. Instead, she set her sights on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, successfully winning the election in two thousand twenty-four against Democratic candidate David Sandoval.
