Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone, born on January fifth, nineteen eighty-six, in Copenhagen, is a celebrated Indian actress renowned for her work in Hindi cinema. The daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone, she was raised in Bangalore, where she initially pursued a career in sports, competing in national-level badminton championships. However, her passion for the arts led her to transition into modeling, which opened the door to her acting career.

Padukone made her film debut in two thousand six with the Kannada film Aishwarya, but it was her dual role in the Bollywood blockbuster Om Shanti Om, opposite Shah Rukh Khan, that catapulted her to fame, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
