Demetrius Greschuk

Demetrius Greschuk, born on November seventh, nineteen twenty-three, was a prominent figure in the Canadian Ukrainian Greek Catholic community. His journey in the clergy began with his dedication to serving the faithful as a Greek-Catholic priest, where he quickly gained recognition for his commitment and leadership.

On June twenty-seventh, nineteen seventy-four, Greschuk was appointed as the Titular Bishop of Nazianzus and took on the role of Auxiliary Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton. His tenure in these positions was marked by a deep devotion to his parishioners and a focus on the spiritual growth of the community.

Following a decade of service, he ascended to the role of Eparchial Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton on April twenty-eighth, nineteen eighty-six. Greschuk's leadership was characterized by his unwavering faith and commitment to the church until his passing on July eighth, nineteen ninety.
