Denis Buntić

Denis Buntić, born on November thirteenth, nineteen eighty-two, in Ljubuški, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, is a distinguished retired Croatian handball player. His career is marked by significant achievements, particularly with the Croatian national team, where he showcased his exceptional skills on the international stage.

Throughout his career, Buntić played a pivotal role in several major tournaments. He was instrumental in helping Croatia secure a silver medal at the 2005 World Championship held in Tunisia. This achievement was followed by another silver medal at the 2009 World Championship, which took place on home soil, further solidifying his status as a key player in the sport.

In addition to his World Championship successes, Buntić was part of the Croatian team that clinched a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. His contributions to the team during these prestigious events have left a lasting legacy in Croatian handball.
