Denis Shapovalov

Denis Shapovalov, born on April 15, 1999, is a prominent Canadian professional tennis player who has made significant strides in the sport. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 10 on September 21, 2020, and has also reached a doubles ranking of No. 44. Shapovalov has claimed four ATP Tour singles titles and is celebrated for his remarkable performance at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, where he reached the semifinals.

As a junior player, Shapovalov showcased his talent by ranking as high as No. 2 in the world. He secured two junior Grand Slam titles, first winning the doubles title at the 2015 US Open alongside Félix Auger-Aliassime, followed by a singles title at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships. His transition to professional tennis was marked by a breakthrough in 2017 when he became the youngest player to reach the semifinals of an ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
