Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Denis Voronenkov

Denis Voronenkov, born on April tenth, nineteen seventy-one, in Gorky, Russian SFSR, was a prominent figure in Russian politics, serving as a member of the State Duma from two thousand eleven to two thousand sixteen. His political journey began with the Unity party, where he was active from two thousand to two thousand three, before joining the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, which he represented during his tenure in the Duma.

Voronenkov's early life was marked by military service; he attended the Suvorov Military School and subsequently joined the Soviet Army. In nineteen ninety-nine, he transitioned from military life to politics, taking on roles such as advisor to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Deputy Mayor of Naryan-Mar, and Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous District.

In the two thousand sixteen legislative elections, Voronenkov lost his seat to a candidate from the United Russia party. Following this defeat, he made a significant life change by renouncing his Russian citizenship and emigrating to Ukraine with his wife, Maria Maksakova Jr. In Ukraine, he became a vocal critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the country's foreign policy, despite having previously supported the annexation of Crimea.

His outspoken criticism led to scrutiny from Russian authorities, with the Investigative Committee of Russia opening a case against him for suspected corruption. An investigation by opposition figure Alexei Navalny revealed that Voronenkov had assets that far exceeded his declared income. Tragically, his life was cut short when he was shot dead in Kyiv by a Ukrainian national, with suspicions of a contract killing linked to the Russian government.
