In the senior category, Vasiļjevs earned the bronze medal at the 2022 European Championships and secured silver at the 2022 MK John Wilson Trophy. He is also a five-time medalist in the ISU Challenger Series, including a gold medal at the 2020 Nebelhorn Trophy. His dominance in Latvian figure skating is evident, as he has claimed the national championship title seven times between two thousand sixteen and two thousand eighteen, as well as in two thousand twenty and from two thousand twenty-two to two thousand twenty-four.
