Dennis Lawrence

Dennis Lawrence, born on August first, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished Trinidadian football coach and former player. Currently serving as the assistant head coach of EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion, Lawrence has made significant contributions to the world of football both on and off the pitch.

His playing career spanned across England, Wales, and Trinidad and Tobago, where he achieved notable success. Lawrence was instrumental in lifting the Caribbean Cup with the Trinidad and Tobago national team and enjoyed a fruitful club career, winning several cup competitions with Wrexham and securing a league title with Swansea City.

Transitioning into coaching, Lawrence spent three years at Wigan Athletic, where he made history as the first Trinidadian to win the FA Cup. His coaching journey continued as he took the helm of the Soca Warriors from two thousand seventeen to two thousand nineteen, further solidifying his legacy in Trinidadian football.
