Denzel Curry

Denzel Curry, born on February 16, 1995, in Miami Gardens, Florida, is an influential American rapper, singer, and songwriter. His journey into music began in the sixth grade, where he discovered his passion for rapping. In 2011, he started crafting his first mixtape, 'King Remembered Underground Tape 1991–1995,' which drew inspiration from the underground Florida rapper SpaceGhostPurrp. This mixtape garnered attention when it was featured on SpaceGhostPurrp's social media, leading Curry to join the hip-hop collective Raider Klan.

In 2013, Curry made the bold decision to leave Raider Klan and released his debut studio album, 'Nostalgic 64,' in September of that year while still completing his high school education. Over the years, he has expanded his discography with three extended plays: '32 Zel/Planet Shrooms' in 2015, '13' in 2017, and 'Unlocked,' a collaboration with Kenny Beats, in 2020. His studio albums include 'Imperial' in 2016, 'Ta13oo' in 2018, 'Zuu' in 2019, and 'Melt My Eyez See Your Future' in 2022, with 'King Of The Mischievous South' set to release in 2024.

Curry's work has been met with critical acclaim, with 'Ta13oo,' 'Zuu,' and 'Melt My Eyez' debuting at numbers twenty-eight, thirty-two, and fifty-one on the Billboard 200 chart, respectively. Notably, 'Melt My Eyez' made a return to the charts at number seventeen following the release of an extended edition. In 2024, he announced the upcoming release of 'King of the Mischievous South, Vol. 2,' scheduled for July nineteenth.

Renowned for his aggressive rapping style, energetic performances, and lyrical prowess, Denzel Curry has established himself as a versatile artist.
