Derek Cianfrance

Derek M. Cianfrance, born on January 23, 1974, is a multifaceted American filmmaker renowned for his work as a director, cinematographer, screenwriter, and editor. His artistic vision has captivated audiences, particularly through his acclaimed films that explore the complexities of human relationships.

Among his most notable works are the poignant dramas Blue Valentine (2010) and The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), both of which showcase his ability to delve into the emotional depths of his characters.
