Derek Dorsett, born on December twentieth, nineteen eighty-six, is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada, renowned for his role as a right winger. Over the course of his career, he played for notable teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), including the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks. Dorsett was selected by the Blue Jackets in the seventh round of the two thousand six NHL Draft, being the one hundred eighty-ninth overall pick.
