Diamantino Miranda

Diamantino Manuel Fernandes Miranda, born on August 3, 1959, is a distinguished former Portuguese footballer who made his mark as a midfielder. Known simply as Diamantino during his playing career, he is celebrated for his significant contributions to the sport, particularly during his time with Benfica, where he spent eleven seasons across two separate spells.

Throughout his tenure at Benfica, Diamantino showcased his exceptional skills on the field, participating in over three hundred official matches and securing eleven major titles. His dedication and talent not only made him a fan favorite but also a key player in the club's history.
