Dianne Saxe

Dianne Saxe, born on November twenty-seventh, nineteen fifty-two, is a prominent Canadian lawyer and politician. She made her mark in the political arena by being elected to represent Ward 11 University—Rosedale on the Toronto City Council following the municipal election in two thousand twenty-two.

Before her foray into politics, Saxe had a distinguished career in environmental law. Her expertise in this field led her to serve as the third and final environmental commissioner of Ontario from two thousand fifteen to two thousand nineteen, where she championed sustainability and environmental protection.

In addition to her legal and political endeavors, Saxe was the deputy leader of the Green Party of Ontario from two thousand twenty to two thousand twenty-two, further solidifying her commitment to environmental issues and progressive policies.
