Dilshod Nazarov, born on May 6, 1982, is a distinguished Tajik track and field athlete renowned for his expertise in the hammer throw. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has proudly represented Tajikistan at the Olympic Games on four occasions, specifically in the years 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016. His crowning achievement came during the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, where he secured the gold medal, marking a historic milestone as the first gold medal for Tajikistan in Olympic history.
Nazarov's competitive spirit extends beyond the Olympics, as he has participated in the World Championships in Athletics seven times from 2005 to 2017.
