Dino Merlin

Edin Dervišhalidović, known to the world as Dino Merlin, was born on September twelfth, nineteen sixty-two, in the vibrant city of Sarajevo. As a Bosnian singer-songwriter and record producer, he has earned the affectionate nickname 'The Wizard' (Čarobnjak) due to his enchanting musical talents. His career has solidified him as one of the most influential and commercially successful artists to emerge from the former Yugoslavia.

Dino's musical journey began with the formation of the band Merlin, which quickly became one of the best-selling rock groups in Southeast Europe. His leadership and creative vision propelled the band to great heights, making them a cultural phenomenon. Over the years, he has released more than a dozen chart-topping albums, each showcasing his distinctive voice and poetic songwriting.

Beyond his musical achievements, Dino Merlin is celebrated for his charismatic stage presence and has embarked on numerous record-breaking tours. His contributions to music and culture have been recognized with various accolades, including the prestigious Sixth of April Sarajevo Award.
