William Sami Étienne Grigahcine, widely recognized by his stage name DJ Snake, was born on June thirteenth, nineteen eighty-six, in France. He began his career as a record producer, contributing to notable tracks for various artists, including the hit singles 'Shut It Down' by Pitbull and 'Applause' by Lady Gaga. However, it was his collaboration with Lil Jon on the explosive track 'Turn Down for What' in two thousand thirteen that catapulted him into the limelight.

This groundbreaking single, released under Mad Decent and Columbia Records, achieved remarkable success, reaching number nineteen on the French SNEP singles chart and number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The track not only garnered octuple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America but also earned a nomination for Best Music Video at the fifty-seventh Annual Grammy Awards, winning the accolade for Top Dance/Electronic Song at the two thousand fifteen Billboard Music Awards.

In two thousand fifteen, DJ Snake teamed up with Diplo for the collaborative single 'Lean On,' featuring Major Lazer and MØ. This track mirrored the success of his earlier work, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in nine countries. His debut studio album, 'Encore,' released in two thousand sixteen, was bolstered by the Billboard Hot 100 top five single 'Let Me Love You,' featuring Justin Bieber, and reached number eight on the Billboard 200.
