Djalma Santos

Djalma Santos, born on February 27, 1929, was a legendary Brazilian footballer renowned for his exceptional skills as a right-back. He made a significant impact on the Brazil national team, participating in four FIFA World Cups and securing victories in the 1958 and 1962 tournaments. His defensive prowess was complemented by his ability to push forward, showcasing impressive technical and attacking skills that set him apart from his peers.

Throughout his illustrious career, Santos was recognized as one of the greatest right-backs of all time. He was one of only three players, alongside Franz Beckenbauer and Philipp Lahm, to be selected for three FIFA World Cup All Star teams, specifically in the years 1954, 1958, and 1962.
