Dmitri Dashinski

Dmitri Dashinski, born on November 9, 1977, in Minsk, is a celebrated Belarusian freestyle skier known for his remarkable achievements in the sport. As a four-time Olympian, he has made a significant mark in freestyle aerials, showcasing his talent on the world stage.

Dashinski's Olympic journey is highlighted by his impressive medal wins: he secured a bronze medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, and followed it up with a silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. His Olympic performances also include a seventh-place finish in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, USA, and an eleventh-place finish in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.

Notably, Dashinski was the first man to achieve the remarkable feat of winning two Olympic medals in freestyle aerials, solidifying his legacy in the sport. Beyond the Olympics, he excelled in the World Cup circuit, finishing first in the Men's Overall World Cup Standings in 2006.
