Dmitri Kharine

Dmitri Kharine, born on August sixteenth, nineteen sixty-eight, is a distinguished Russian football coach and former professional footballer. Renowned for his expertise as a goalkeeper, Kharine's career spanned from nineteen eighty-two to two thousand four, during which he made significant contributions to several clubs, including Chelsea in the Premier League and Celtic in the Scottish Premier League.

Before his time in England, Kharine showcased his talents with prominent Moscow clubs such as Torpedo, Dynamo, and CSKA. His international career was equally impressive, earning caps for the USSR, CIS, and the Russian national teams, solidifying his status as a key player in the football world.

After retiring as a player, Kharine transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of goalkeeping coach at Luton Town in two thousand four. He dedicated nearly a decade to the club, remaining until two thousand thirteen, before moving on to similar positions at Stevenage and Hemel Hempstead Town, where he currently serves as the goalkeeping coach.
