Dmitry Kharatyan

Dmitry Kharatyan, born on January twenty-first, nineteen sixty, in Olmaliq, Uzbek SSR, is a distinguished Soviet and Russian actor of Armenian descent. He has earned the title of People's Artist of Russia, a testament to his significant contributions to the arts. Kharatyan made his acting debut in nineteen seventy-seven with a role in Vladimir Menshov's film, Practical Joke, marking the beginning of a prolific career in the entertainment industry.

In March two thousand fourteen, Kharatyan publicly expressed his support for Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the annexation of Crimea, signing a letter that aligned with the government's position.
