Dolores Delgado

Dolores Delgado, born on November ninth, nineteen sixty-two, is a prominent Spanish prosecutor and jurist who made significant contributions to the legal landscape of Spain. She served as the Attorney General of Spain from two thousand twenty to two thousand twenty-two, a role that underscored her commitment to justice and the rule of law.

Before her tenure as Attorney General, Delgado held the position of Minister of Justice and First Notary of the Kingdom from two thousand eighteen to two thousand twenty during the first administration of Pedro Sánchez. Her career in the Public Prosecution Service began in nineteen eighty-nine, where she was initially assigned to the High Court of Justice in Catalonia.

In nineteen ninety-three, she was promoted to prosecutor at the Audiencia Nacional, where she gained recognition for her work on high-profile cases involving drug trafficking and terrorism.
