Don Dickinson

Don Dickinson, born in January nineteen forty-seven in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, is a distinguished Canadian writer and former actor. His literary journey has been marked by significant accolades, including being a shortlisted nominee for the prestigious Governor General's Award for English-language fiction in nineteen ninety-one for his acclaimed short story collection, Blue Husbands.

In addition to this recognition, Dickinson's novel The Crew earned him a nomination for the nineteen ninety-three Books in Canada First Novel Award. His collection Blue Husbands also garnered the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize in nineteen ninety-two, further solidifying his reputation in the literary community.
