Don Larsen, born on August 7, 1929, was an iconic American professional baseball pitcher whose career spanned fifteen years in Major League Baseball. He showcased his talent from 1953 to 1967, playing for seven different teams, including the St. Louis Browns, New York Yankees, and Chicago Cubs, among others.
One of the most remarkable achievements of Larsen's career came during the 1956 World Series, where he pitched the sixth perfect game in MLB history.
